I received a list of material today to quote for a customer and some of it has "hospital stops" on it. Can anyone tell me what that means?

Hi @LumberGuy
Thanks for your post. Hospital stops are hollow metal frames where the stop (and soffit) do not go all the way down the the bottom of the frame....thus not going all the way down to the floor.
This is for sanitary reasons as some dirt can get caught in the little corners created when the soffit runs all the way down to the floor.

I've wondered what that meant myself.
